Chopper Spins Wildly into Palm Fronds at Frequented California Beach
A chopper flying near a well-attended coastal coastline suddenly commenced twirling wildly, ultimately descending rapidly and crashing into a line of palm fronds as beachgoers looked on.
Recordings shared online capture the aircraft starting to spin near the beach then falling near the edge of the shore, where it gets stuck amidst palm trees and a set of stairs near the shoreline route.
Emergency Response Information
The Huntington Beach fire department reported five individuals were taken to hospital including two individuals who were in the aircraft and were “rescued from the debris” following the crash on Saturday.
Three individuals on the pavement were hurt. Information on their wounds were not yet released.
The cause of the crash was still under investigation.
